Are you tired of avoiding Christmas shopping like the plague, only to end up doing it all on the busiest weekend of the year, packed into the same high street stores and buying the same high street stuff as everyone else?
Well no more.
This year, head down to Camden Lock Market and join the People’s Republic of Christmas. Peruse the independent shops and stalls – of which there are over 300 – while sipping on some mulled wine and enjoying some great grub from the likes of Honest Burgers, Mighty Fine Fudge and French & Grace.
What’s more, if you use the hashtag #ShopTheLock, you can even get some very helpful advise on what to buy and where to find it, and if you collect six stamps on your ‘Border Pass’ then you enter a prize draw for the chance to win hamper full of Camden Lock goodies.
Then on the 12th, 13th and 14th December, head down to the Lock for a bit of after hours shopping at the Night Market, which includes a Camden Lock pop-up radio station featuring the likes of Norman Jay, lots of delicious grub AND a pop-up restaurant by the Disappearing Dining Club.
